We're now back in France after 4 1/2 months in the USA. It was a
spectacular trip due to all the various places explored, catching up with old
friends and making new ones, topped off with a nephew's wedding in New
Jersey for the grand finale.

The RV held up well with nary a problem throughout the 9000 mile (14,400
km) journey although the high price of diesel did put quite a dent in the
budget. The latter part of our trip up the northwestern USA took us into new
fascinating territory. The Pacific Coast north of San Francisco had always been
on our bucket list and although now we can cross that off, we hope to return
soon to this magnificent and dynamic region. It's difficult to do justice to its
beauty with a few photos but we hope they give a taste of what we
experienced.
